Irish Blessing

Hey Ya'll!!!
I got my inspiration for this card from
(the twist is a St. Patrick's Day themed card)

Here is the Sketch:

If you follow along with the photos you can see my tutorial/recipe card for this card.

This was the original basic layout idea.
Everything is distressed with Tim Holtz' Ranger
 Old Paper
 Distress Ink
(I use this ink on almost EVERYTHING I make).

Notice the beautiful Kelly green satin ribbon here
- but -
I decided that it wasn't included with the sketch so I'd play it safe and
 not use it.
Making cards from a sketch like this reminds me just
 HOW
difficult it can be for me to
JUST
make a Clean and Simple card and
not get carried away with all the bells and whistles.

This CAS Card would be a good card for a man, though, without a doubt!

I found this silk "clover" bush at a local Dollar Tree.

Everything is taped down.

The sentiment was mounted on distressed white cardstock and I used
basic green glitter from my stash on
1/8" Scor Tape, it was then
 mounted with
 foam tape
(I don't have any glue dots,
-yet -
I'm new at this, remember :)

Peacock Liquid Pearls by Ranger was used in the center of the shamrocks
 and for the corner decoration

Can you see where I picked up the wrong green
 (this one is Key Lime)
for the center of this shamrock?

I was using it to "hold" down the silk while the glue dried,
and picked it up by mistake.
I simply let it dry and scraped it off and added the correct color.

My thanks to the great people over at Jamie Brock's Hub Pages for this gorgeous
 St. Patrick's Theme Designer paper

I love the way it looks.

I found the Printable Irish Blessings sentiment as a
